The works I display are part of a serie, in which I used found footage, that -to my eyes- appear forced, misplaced or often even mean. Images in which everything that should appear to be spontaneous has disappeared, but which nevertheless were made with the intention to seduce. The staging of these pictures  fascinates me. In the popular visual culture in which we live and are inundated with image, I like to play with the initial meaning.
I create new images through trial and error, where wrong lines remain or appear to be right. Paintings that bring out the artificial and tragically comic of these images with appropriate irony.
